I think Boxer hit the nail on the head: narcissistic paranoid personality disorder. Still, don't mean I wouldn't have loved to see what other heights of crazy he could have reached.
I wonder what he was like in the "real world?" I can't imagine him holding down a job for more than a few weeks before falling apart like a day old scone . . .
Well if he was broke before I'm thinking perhaps he should find a new line of work because I don't see a whole lot of employers knocking on his door after this little run on Just Desserts.
Seth should not be trusted with sharp objects. When I watched him, I couldn't breathe, he even made ME anxious right through the screen. I don't enjoy watching people melt down, very sad. I think he's bipolar.
It wasn't fair on the other contestants to be abused by him, the contest is hard enough. Glad he's gone, I was not going to watch anymore (so much for drama creating ratings.)
I only saw a little of the show last night (it's the playoffs don't you know). But this is "cringe TV" and it is definitely uncomfortable to watch. I'm glad he's gone,,,bound for some supermarket bakery I suspect.
Buzz's comment about a supermarket bakery made me spit out coffee.
I feel he never should have been cast in the first place. Did no one see the signs that this Dude isn't stable? As in..... daily meds are his only option? His "anxiety attack" was more than just hyperventilating and his visions of grandiosity and paranoid thoughts make probably bipolar or schizophrenic. Whatever it is, I won't miss him. I agree with LaDiva, he was making me anxious and I felt bad for the others chefs. However, I'm sure his replacement will keep up the crazy just fine for the rest of time she's on.
I know he was good TV, but I like watching Top Chef with my kiddoes and I didn't feel comfortable having them watch Seth. I was glad he was canned at the beginning of this episode, so we all watched the end of it.
The two Heathers gave us some interesting drama anyway. What the hell? If I want Heathers drama I'll go rent the movie. Sheesh.

I hope he goes to see someone about this episode in his life. I think he needs some help and hope he gets it.
Whoo . . . poll is running Even-Steven!

Still, a meltdown over cupcake liners?
