That's a mighty transfixing photo, Shamy. But I'm completely at a loss. If it's a food item, I'm guessing you'll be preparing it in some delectable way in lieu of watching Bravo Wed. night. Otherwise, it might be something you'll throw at the screen in aggravation without risking damage to your TV?
I googled offal. Couldn't find anything that fit, closest was tripe. From my vast experience with breathing and kids who don't very well my next guess is bronchi from the lung.
I'll tell you what. If anyone gets it by 9 tonight, I will get them a signed by the author copy of Virginia Willis's most excellent cookbook, Bon Appetit Y'all.

I'm thinking some kind of sea sponge.

I'm stumped. It looks like something that's been through a grinder - maybe some kind of seafood for cakes?
I'm thinking like Buzz. Maybe ground turkey/chicken?
Twelve more hours to go, keep those guesses coming.
My first thought was riced potatoes...

I'll take a second guess and say tripe. No idea what you would do with that though.

or alveoli from the same place. Okay NOW I've got to do something productive...
Some vegetable product put through a ricer, my best guess so far.
Since I'm going with something riced, we'll take that as a given in my guesses:
Parsnips
daikon
bread
rice
some kind of sweet potato I haven't seen before
It could be ground chicken. Not riced...
It could be a craft project and be some kind of felted fabric.
No it's food.
All right that's all I've got.
What's the winner get, I ask jumping up and down?
I haven't even picked out a prize because no one is going to get it.
