"...my mind was drifting back fondly to my last colonoscopy..."
If anyone had any doubt whether we'd see clashing egos and confrontational chefs, the first episode proved that everything is fair game. This season is going to be so delicious.

Fabio!!! Holy Hell.
*please don't send him home*
*please don't send him home.*
or at least, not until someone has the honor of punching him in the face.
11 times.
bwhahahahhahahah.
He was pretty obnoxious. It's going to be so much harder to charm his way deep into the competition like he did with his season.
OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG Off to ITunes to purchase.
Nice chop there Shamsteroni.
OK so - it's not on ITunes, and I don't get Bravo. Any crack monkeys out there know how I can watch without, ya know, exploding my computer from illegal streaming and wahtnot? (It's a MacBook Pro and it Cannot Die. Sob)
Watching the previews, after the episode, almost gave me an anxiety attack! And Muppets?! Woot!
MS, it might be on Hulu.
Froggy, kinda hard to snark the Muppets however you are right, the Muppets look calm compared to the little screamers they've got lined up just for Tiffani.
I love-a da Fabio. But not as an ego-fueled assembler of crap-ass looking pastas. I also love that Anthony didn't engage him. Bring it, boys.
Fabio's attitude surprised me. Actually a lot of the puffery talk last night surprised me. For folks who didn't win their seasons, they seem to be letting the All Stars moniker fatten their heads quite a bit. Richard Blais particularly annoyed me. Seriously dude, you lost, Stephanie won and frankly is doing great things in Chicago while you're still whining about how you were supposed to win. Add to that the fact that you got caught plating after time had expired but won't take responsibilty for it, instead blaming whomever ratted you out. Jerk.
You are oh so right. Humbler, more grateful attitudes would have been much more in order here.
Richard bugs, but no one puffed harder than the loooooozer . . .
I wanted Elia to go home the moment she told the judges they shouldn't send her home.
Of course, NO ONE wants to be the first. Also, did you think she was a Padma lookalike in her black dress?
I thought Elia was going to be in the top four. Hmmm And at judges table, I thought Fabbio or Stephen was going, but I guess Elia's dish was that bad.
I liked the elimination challenge and as soon as I heard it, I thought this would be cake for all of them. Wouldn't you think every chef that went home would have reworked the dish that got them eliminated until they got it right; as a matter of pride? Shame on the chefs in the bottom.
And is it me or has Fabbio's accent actually gotten worse? I caught about half of what he said.
I think Fabio's accent gets thicker the angrier he gets. If his critiques get any worse he'll just sink into gibberish. With hand gestures.
Damn. I'm missing gibberish with hand gestures! Sob!
