So glad to be here! Still remember when I couldn't figure out what the hell Dim Sum Sunday was or what on earth this weird show was.

Now I dance with the other TC crack monkeys and my children help me cook up stuff for DSS.

It's nice, this place.

But my money's on the crab. In the apparently imminent fight between crab and orca, that is...

Thanks Chickory, you inspire me in so many ways. No, no crab pressing. Merry Snowy Christmas to you and thank you for your generosity of opening up your hideaway to your bloggy friends. It was an incredible experience.

What a lovely holiday card! And what a spectacular crustacean! Wishing you an egg-cellent Christmas, Shamy!

Thanks Eggy, you know I had to include a crab, just wouldn't be the Kitchen without it...plus I couldn't find some bacon art I liked.

Here's hoping you have a Big Purple Christmas.

Beautiful card! Merry, Merry Christmas to you and your pack on this wonderful day. I hope that even though you didn't make the trip home, you get to celebrate the day surrounded by joyous eating and general goodwill. Thanks for your inspirational friendship and here's to even more Bad Padma Fashion in 2011.

Way cool card. The orca has a Dia de los Muertos look to it.

Merry Christmas Dani, you're one of the many reasons why the Kitchen rocks, your gang of fur and feathers and garden goodness. You inspired me to get going on my own backyard garden and I WILL be planting the wonderful seeds you sent me. Let's hope I don't kill them. Merry Christmas sweet friend.

Moi,I think it best this Christmas that I celebrate alone except for the company of the bottle of Nyquil. Let's just say my co-workers gave me a special holiday gift that just keeps on giving. There will be no special food because I can neither taste nor smell. I will enjoy vicariously through others whatever holiday feasts they will be consuming. Padma, ah another bloggy gift that just keeps giving.

Thanks Buzz, and thank you for being a part of the Kitchen, I always enjoy your astute take on Top Chef and your dedication to making good food for your family. Or it could be you like hanging out with all the fine womens that putter around here....but we won't spill your secret.

Merry Christmas Boxer, my blog buddy. We need to dedicate a Dim Sum Sunday just to you and your new stove. I'm so excited to see what sort of video masterpiece will be inspired by that appliance. Here's hoping Santa showered you with love and vodka.

Merry, Merry, Merry. I LOVE the Kitchen. Thank you!

ooooh...my word verification is "sinday". now WHAT do you think THAT means?

Big Shamu said...

Melissa, so glad you added your voice to the stewpot. It's always fun to have a local gal sharing the ecstasy of local farmers markets or the agony of Snowgasm.

Sinday....snort, sounds like a new internet meme about to burst forth.

Hey merry Christmas a little late B Shammy and Missy D says "woof" let's go tolling. A beautiful card and I do think that the red and black border has a "bacon" feel.
