Dim Sum Sunday - Summer Blockbuster
This week's theme lets Hollywood be your culinary Muse. Do you have a Tuna Tartare recipe in honor of Jaws? Maybe bake some Reese's Pieces Cookies to make ET feel at home? Will Lawrence of Arabia inspire you to stuff some dates or skewer some lamb? Or perhaps you're just in the mood for some Bubby Gump Shrimp.Come back Sunday for Dim Sum Sunday Summer Blockbuster EXTRAVAGANZA!!

No. More. Shrimp. I'll take some Reese's Pieces, though. I gotta recipe for them in cupcake-sized cheesecakes somewhere, but I always miss this meme, so maybe I'll just do what I always do: Sit back and salivate over what y'all come up with.
Hmmmmmm mini cheesecakesmmmmmmmmm. Well if you run out of time and don't join in please send me the recipe. Pretty Please?
And one of my most fav movies of all times ! When I saw Jaws in the theatre for the first time I wanted to be a shark specialist for years after. How bout old fashioned Orville popped on top of the stove (no microwave stuff here ) with butter, salt & a sprinkling of dill pickle popcorn seasoning. A big mug of icy diet ginger ale ... and hey ! where's that remote ?
Hopefully we'll see that on Sunday Susan. Never heard of dill pickle popcorn seasoning. I'll trade ya some Old Bay Crab Seasoning...
You're on ... I've been wondering where I could get my hands on some Old Bay - I kid not.
A blood transfusion from me is one dependable source.
hmmmm....interesting.......
Interesting? Or appropriately vague to fit all dishes?
Definitely "B" as I have no freakin' idea what to do and have never even thought of making dishes based on movies! I couldn't even think of an Oscar night cocktail from past soirees!
We'll see......meant to go to a beach party that starts at 11 and involves Gray Goose Vodka, so that's not a good indication for cooking later in the day!!!
Sounds like Leaving Las Vegas to me.
Teee!!!
