I was rolling my eyes at the whole thing.
Also. Marea. I could never eat there. Makes me feel mareada. Who names these places? Is the word marea so different in Italian than in Spanish? Who wants to eat at a place where the name is the Spanish verb form for nausea???????? Por favor. Seriously every time I see that I feel a twinge, and not a fun one.
Tom: I don't think we should have let Padma eat those mushrooms at Townhouse.
Tony: I told you I tasted headshop. She's your problem, I'm going to hit the hooker in the blue dress.

As for me, I just want it known for the record how much I hate Padma's dress. The color, the volume, the way it one-shoulders itself on one side and slip slides itself off on the other, as if it can't decide whether it wants to be a bed sheet or a toga. Horrible.
And that over-ruffled, hand-eating bathrobe in blue the other gal is wearing isn't much better.

I agree with Making Space, I would have thought these guys would have been galavanting around town in a limo, NOT hailing cabs. Puh lease!
Making Space, it's not far off from mierda either, which is what I thought of.
So, Syd and I will be passing on Marea since I don't want to throw up and she doesn't want to eat s#!t. Ha.
