You're ALL invited...

...To "Dim Sum Sunday"!

Is your Sunday dinner delectable? Daring? Succulent? Shareable? If it's any or all of those things, or even something completely different, we'd like to invite you to participate in "Dim Sum Sunday" - a weekly food meme. Each week, a theme will be given. The participants will use the theme (from the literal to the avant-garde) when creating their Sunday suppers the following week. Then, just take a picture or two of the meal, and tell us all about it. Does it have to be home cooking? Not necessarily - you can go out, eat in, or even go to a friends house...as long as your post reflects the theme in original (you don't have to be a professional photographer) pictures of your dinner, and personal stories (and recipes and how-tos if you choose...)!

We'll give you a while to marinate...Sunday, March 15th should do the trick! The first theme is "A Chicken In Every Pot". Be sure to come here and leave a comment that links back to your blog to let us know your post is up!

  1. Hmmmm, Sunday dinners. Can't wait. However I'll think I'll pass on my spitting of food last Sunday. Shamu NOT happy.

  2. You've posted your own pictures before? What do you mean no camera?

  3. I would love to play along. Maybe I will learn some new recipes! I have to admit... I am a horrible cook, but I'm brilliant in my own mind. My poor husband humors me often, and my ridiculous attempts at mini-masterpieces.

Would love any suggestions about how to be a better cook! But I will give it all a go!

  5. You know what I make most Sundays? Roast chicken. So, uh, this will be fun. Get me out of my box.

Chef Troll should play along anyway, even if he doesn't have a camera. Which I find hard to believe :o). The more men in the kitchen, the merrier, I say! Speaking of which, where's Gnome?

  7. Hot-Chick destroyed my food-quality camera. Hey, was that YOUR logo they showed on Top Chef last night? If so, that's pretty cool.

It was a Fan Favorite Graphic for Carla that Obama Posterized her.

Candy Cohen it was from "A Fan Site".

  13. WAH! I'm going to be out of town on the 15th....in fact, I'm going to miss the 15th completely! I leave for Australia from L.A. next Sat. night just before midnight and get into Sydney on Monday morning the 16th.

We'll see what happens when I'm away. I hope to be out having too much fun drinking and eating to be on a computer! hehe!

    Have fun!

I'm game for this. I even went as far as setting up my own blog (which I've never done before) with this meme in mind. Not sure how it will work out.

The real wrench in the works is my youngest starts soccer at 4:45 on Sunday. If I can talk the Mrs. into taking him, I'll give it a try.
