    Love the presentation on this. Chicken and Dumplings like mom made was a 1 pot affair with a solid layer of dumplings accross the top, almost like a pot pie (just runnier). Nice.

    Elegant? Really? That's interesting. When I was prop shopping I was looking for the nice white Ironstone plates and bowls that my grandma liked to use. I guess I never really thought of Chicken and Dumplings as elegant. Actually there wasn't much thought at all except to eat more quickly than the rest of my family so I could get seconds.
