These challenges where they have to run a restaurant and cook, or rely on someone else to do your dish - always seem to be unfair. Didn't feel right to eliminate Casey. I think even Jamie was shocked.
This was another ridiculous elimination challenge. You can't expect the chefs to cook for 200+ people AND run food up to another floor AND serve it. They should have had more wait staff.
Cpt. Obvious thought Jamie was going home for sure right after judges table.
So, Cpt. Obvious thought, what is worse?
2 bad dishes(Jamie)
or
One inedible dish and letting somebody control your fate by trusting her to cook your dish properly(Casey)
After Cpt. Obvious stopped looking at Casey's lady of the night lipstick in the exit interview, it was more clear she had to go. Jamie was oh so close though.

Seriously, I don't know how she survived this challenge. Two bad dishes. Isn't two bad dishes worse than one bad dish?

ReplyDeleteOh yeah, I think Casey got screwed. I really wish they hadn't given immunity for this challenge because I'm still trying to figure out what Mike did?

ReplyDeleteI have to say that I think this was the toughest challenge they've had on regular Top Chef.
