  1. YES! Thanks for the post/reminder. I had forgotten to set the DVR. Leaving comment and then running up to set recording!

  2. Of course! Glad I remembered it starts an hour earlier. How long did the final four in the QC have to cook? Dang, I hate when I sneak up to the computer during commercials and miss details like that.

  3. Not sure Eggy, I think it was more than 15 minutes.

  4. Woo-hoo! Looks like Bourdain is actually coming back this season!

  5. I caught that too. Love that man (you don't hear me saying that too often).

  6. Bwahahaaaa, Shamy. I have tickets to see Bourdain later this month. He apparently takes questions from the audience, and I was thinking of asking if he still follows TC. Guess I'll have to come up with a new question. Wonder if Ripert as new judge had anything to do with him coming back. Regardless, glad to see them both on this season!

  7. Bourdain was at UCLA today over here in LA promoting his book.

Just watched the 1st episode. A few very standout chefs so far.

Glad to see him back on TC!

  9. It's pretty sad that the most exciting thing about the 7th season of Top Chef is the return of Anthony Bourdain.

  10. I watched and I'm liking the new time (1 hour earlier). It looks like they have a pretty good crop of chefs (older group) but I get the sense that they want an African American TC this season. My top 4 after the first Episode are Kenny, Angelo, Alex and Lynne.

    Spoiler

I was glad to see John go. I don't think I could deal with that hair for the whole season.

  11. I watched, but I was kinda drunk by the time it was over. Had to catch the late repeat.

So, thank you, Buzzkill, for sparing me the trouble of looking it up. LOL

  12. Would like to know Syd if it was any more interesting drunk than it was watching sober?

  13. Well, I thought it was boring as hell. That I was also playing scrabble while watching probably didn't help though.

  14. There you have it! Drunk or Sober, Top Chef DC, boring as hell.

  15. I watched. Season 7 and they are doing the same old same old. ZZZZZZ. Makes me wish Gordon Ramsay would show up, swear at everyone, kick a few garbage cans and storm out.

I fell asleep but woke up to see icky hair guy leave.

  16. I initially hated icky hair guy, but then I ended up feeling sorry for him. You know, like the booger-eating kid from home room in Junior High that you invite to your birthday party in an effort to be kindhearted like your mama taught you and then they end up throwing a fit because they thought they got a smaller piece of birthday cake than everyone else and so in retaliation they toss an entire can of Tab soda at your Sean Cassidy poster?

  17. Hmmm....I was too busy preparing for my class today to watch so taped. Finished at 10 and went to hot tub and then came up to that new Next Asshat Artist Show and decided to watch that over my recorded Top Chef. What does that tell ya?!

  18. Careful Boxer, could be one of her issues.
