I just got around to watching the most recent episode, and I must say that I was deeply put off by Dale's comments regarding Nikki's desire to decorate their buffet table. There seemed to be more than a tinge of misogynistic inflection in the tone of his voice when he said that he was "here to cook, not to gussy up the table" and that he's "not some f*cking interior designer".
I don't want to come off sounding like a crazy feminist here, but I highly doubt that he would have reacted in a similar manner had a male contestant made the same suggestion.
